GUK always emphasizes on human resource development by imparting theoretical and practical need based training. The main focus of the training is to develop the human resources through skill development training for both staffs and project participants of GUK. The major activities carried out by GUK training unit are: training needs assessment, preparation of yearly budget as per training year planner, curriculum and module development, conduction of training sessions and training evaluation. Training unit is headed by a Deputy Director along with his associates & implementing all kinds of training program activities.
The head of training unit is directly report able to the Executive Director. During this fiscal year a total number of 238 staffs & 525 beneficiaries have received skill & quality development training from training unit of GUK. In addition to this the training department conducted different categories of training as per donor supported projects/programs.
